Explore the Psilocybe cubensis "Fanaticus" strain, an intriguing variety sourced from the Psilocybe Fanaticus spore stock. This strain offers an excellent option for mycology enthusiasts and researchers interested in studying distinctive Ps. cubensis features.

Product Features:

  • Spores in Sterile Aqueous Solution: Conveniently provided in 10cc BD Luer-Lok syringes with one 1.5in 16ga needle for easy inoculation.

Strain Details:

  • Habitat: Prefers bovine and equine dung as well as enriched soils, typical of Psilocybe cubensis varieties.
  • Climate: Thrives in subtropical climates, which makes it ideal for growth in similar environments.
  • Strain Origin: The exact origin is unknown, but it comes from Psilocybe Fanaticus spore stock, known for its robust genetic line.

Physical Characteristics:

  • Cap: 50-75+ mm in diameter, initially broadly convex and maturing to a plane shape. The cap begins yellowish-brown, maturing to yellow. The surface is dry, with small remnants of the universal veil, resulting in characteristic spots. The flesh is white but bruises a bluish-green when injured.
  • Stem: 150 mm in length, with a yellowish color and bulbous shape. The flesh bruises bluish-green where damaged. The partial veil is nearly absent, and therefore, a ring is not typically left on the stem.
  • Gills: Adnate to adnexed, with a grayish coloration in young fruit bodies that darkens slightly as the mushroom matures.
  • Spores: Dark purplish-brown, subellipsoid on 4-spored basidia. This strain is a relatively poor spore depositor, meaning specimens are mainly available for microscopy use in spore syringe form.

Additional Notes: This strain offers a unique opportunity to study a less common phenotype of Ps. cubensis, making it a rare specimen for educational or research purposes. Its relatively low spore production results in this strain being primarily available in syringe form for microscopic examination.

Important Information:

  • Intended Use: Spores are intended for microscopy and taxonomy purposes only.
  • Legal Disclaimer: The cultivation of Psilocybe cubensis is illegal in many countries, including the United States. Please check your local regulations before purchasing.
  • Shipping Restrictions: Orders containing Psilocybe Genera Spores will be refused, voided, or refunded for residents of California, Idaho, and Georgia due to legal restrictions on spore possession.
