Cap: Pale brown to yellowish brown with small whitish spots from universal veil remnants.
Stem: Yellowish, mostly solid with a small hollow center, bluing slightly and belatedly when damaged. Features a membranous partial veil.
Gills: Adnate to adnexed, initially yellowish, becoming brown as spores mature.
Spores: Clay brown to reddish brown in deposit. Flash photography dramatically enhances the red tones in spore prints on foil, but under normal lighting, the spores appear more brownish than red.
Comments:
The Redspore strain is a mutated variety of Psilocybe cubensis, characterized by its brownish spores as opposed to the typical dark purplish-black color. This strain shares identical spores with the PF Redspore, but it features abnormal carpophores.
