Strain Information:
Origin: Leucistic mutation of the A-strain, originally provided by E-V-da-B
Cap: Very pale cream to white, often with bluish tones, and a sharp central nipple. Universal veil remnant spots are present but inconspicuous due to the pale color.
Stem: Pale similar to the cap, bruising intensely blue upon damage, with a persistent membranous annulus that turns purple with spores.
Gills: Adnate to adnexed, grayish when young, turning nearly black at maturity.
Spores: Dark purple in deposit.
Comments:
Unlike the PF Albino, this mutated strain retains normally pigmented spores, making it a leucistic form rather than a true albino. A small amount of pigmentation in the carpophores gives it its unique appearance.
